I can wax lyrical about the importance of relaxation and top of the line products as keys to a healthy lifestyle until my face goes blue. The bottom line is if you’re not putting the right things into your body, it’s not going to show on the outside.

Just ask our First Lady, Michelle Obama. Her diet mantra is simple: eat fresh food and everything in moderation. She is committed to not only feeding her hubby and daughters, Sasha and Malia, nutritious eats but the rest of us as well. She recently said to her White House employees about a local soup kitchen,

“Collect some fruits and vegetables; bring by some good healthy food. We can provide this kind of healthy food for communities across the country, and we can do it by each of us lending a hand.”

Mrs. Obama recently spoke at the Department of Agriculture about the importance of fruits and vegetables, not just for the wealthy but for all communities. Seeing as how we’re in the midst of an obesity epidemic, this message seems just as crucial as any. Now that’s change we can believe in.
