I always reach for OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark during manicures no matter how many times I’m encouraged to embrace my inner Pretty In Pink. I live for deep tissue massages (even though the pressure can often be too much), and if I could do Pilates movements all day long I’d be a happy girl. I’ve been plumped, zapped, and sculpted in every which way and once I was even told, “I can’t treat you; there’s not enough cellulite.” (Admittedly, this was the happiest day of my life.) I’ve explored the exciting (and often outrageous) world of spa, beauty, fashion, and health for a long time, so it made perfect sense to join the dedicated Spa Week team. Moving forward I’ll be speaking, interviewing, and highlighting everything YOU want to know, and I’ll broaden the scope and focus on health/fitness, beauty, spas/services, and even a bit of fashion. I’ll find out who the best experts are, uncover new trends, and give you insider tips on the best deals, promotions, and giveaways available. But I’m only one person and it’s quite possible that you have some inside scoop for me. Is there a new bizarre weight-loss treatment only available in your town? What about an exotic spa with an off-the-cuff story? Tell me so I can share with the rest of Spa Week and its readers. I’ll do my best to answer any questions and respond to reader emails (if I don’t respond, I think it’s safe to assume I’m taking advantage of Spa Week’s $50 treatments). I’m always up for suggestions so feel free to shoot me an email at Rebecca@Spaweekmedia.com 3 Responses Suzy Rebsamen April 13, 2009 Tried the OPI “Try-On This Color” website. Interesting. Kind of fun. Based on this web-site the color called “Party in My Cabana” should be great on me — and really, who can resist that name? Although, “Mauve-less Memories”, “The Thrill of Brazil”, and “Pompei Purple” are all definite possibilities for summer! However, the website does have flaws — such as nail length and shape; skin color — no “in between” shades and no way to increase redness, sallowness, blue veins, etc; can’t tell if the polish is creme or shimmer or duo-tone; and probably more issues I haven’t thought about… Also, would love to be able to have 2 hands to compare two colors next to each other — even on 2 different nails on the same hand. Just my 2 cents! Looking forward to my Spa Week massage and facial later this weeek! Reply Spa Week Blog » OPI Giveaway April 13, 2009 […] I told you several days ago I rarely try new new polish colors. In fact, I am routine about it: I pick out three shades, sit down with my manicurist, and hold off […] Reply Madison April 3, 2009 Hi Rebecca! Great to meet you.
