Do you take a multivitamin or a supplement of some sort? Most people take at least a multivitamin daily, and these days many of us are taking even more. My opinion on vitamins is that if you are eating all the right foods then you don’t need them. You are getting them the old fashioned way.

Unfortunately, lots of research suggests that due to the way our food is harvested, how the soil and produce are treated and other environmental factors, food today is missing the quantity of essential nutrients that it once had. Therefore, some sort of vitamin should be taken daily to compensate for the lack in the food.

For example, In 2003 News Canada reported that today’s fruit and vegetables contain far fewer nutrients than they did 50 years ago. They claimed that potatoes, tomatoes, bananas and apples were significantly less nutritious. For example, the study (source unidentified) found that potatoes had lost 100 % of their vitamin A content, 57% of their vitamin C and iron, and 28% of their calcium.

Crazy, right!

Although my belief is that vitamins should be eaten in their most natural form, through whole foods, I am also a believer that when your body gets the right amount of vitamins and minerals needed, the body effectively burns fat, and therefore helps you to lose weight by accident. That is why taking a multivitamin daily is not a bad idea.

However, I am picky about everything, including which vitamins are best for you. Most synthetic vitamins, such as Centrum, are made in labs with a bunch of junk in them (like fillers, titanium dioxide, and sodium benzoate). They don’t have the natural components needed for your body to understand, process, and absorb the vitamins fully.

That is why when you pee after taking a lot of synthetic vitamins, it is bright yellow and smells like vitamins… not to get graphic or anything. Basically, the synthetic stuff is going right through you, not to mention leaving behind other chemicals.

In conclusion (here it is!) I highly recommend VitaSynergy vitamins. There is no vitamin out there like it. It is 100% based on whole foods, many of the ingredients are organic, and it has absolutely no junk in it, and your body knows exactly how to absorb it, because it resembles food.

If you try out VitaSynergy, let me know if you can feel the difference. It is unbelievable!!
