The Little Luxury: SkinSync Pro-T Brightening Peel

Relationship status: We met over the summer, and it’s always there to brighten my day when I need it.

In 3 seconds, what is it: It’s a 2-part 5-minute facial peel that delivers an instant splash of vibrancy to dull skin.

HOLD UP… is this going to be a Samantha-style peel disaster? NOPE, not at all. Not even a little bit. No redness, and your skin won’t actually “peel” at all. This peel is very gentle!

Step #1 – First comes the Peel: First, you apply a thin layer of the peel to your face with your fingers in a circular motion and let it sit for about 2 minutes.

Step #2 Then comes the Activator: With just 2-3 drops of the stuff, you’ll feel a warm, tingly sensation all over your face. Almost like you’re humiliated and you got all flushed and hot and turned bright red – except with this, you don’t turn red! It’s quite literally flushing you with a dose of brightness! Then, you rinse it off with warm water.

The bright side: It does what it says it’ll do… and it smells nice and fresh and citrus-y too! I can feel and see an instant nourishment of my skin, so I often use it before parties and other events. I use it about 2-3 times a month and it seems to be one of the factors in maintaining a vibrant looking complexion.

Advice for first time users: The warming sensation can be a bit intense the first time – but it’s not going to burn your face, don’t worry! Also, I’ve left it on for longer that recommended and it didn’t do any damage, so you aren’t going to catch fire if you go over by a minute or two!

CAUTION: This product may cause you to do a small, unproductive photo shoot in your bedroom! (I attempted before/after pictures, but photos really are not good at capturing subtle differences in skin complexion. So – you get this instead.) Exhibit…

First, the goods:

Omigosh! It’s a peel.

Duck-facing the camera as the activator activates the peel.

It’s getting nice and hot and spicy!

And then I washed it off, and was so dazzled by my appearance in the iPhone screen that I forgot to look the camera in the eye.

How much? It’ll set you back $85 – but the set lasts for months, even up to a year. Check out all the brightening products and advanced, professional ways to “synchronize your skin” over at
