“Robert Piguet taught me the virtues of simplicity through which true elegance must come.”
-Christian Dior

When we think of the name Robert Piguet, three things come to mind: Couture. Paris. Fracas.

Piguet revolutionized Haute Couture fashion in the 1930s as one of France’s premier designers. But while this generation may not be aware of his vast clothing empire, they’re certainly aware of his fragrance legacy.

Fracas, launched in 1947, is a classic white floral that remains a bestselling fragrance to this day. Countless celebrities claim it’s their signature scent (which, by the way, is based on the trio of gardenia, tuberose, and jasmine). And while the fragrance house knew not to mess with a good thing, they did decide to give Fracas some new siblings.

The Nouvelle Collection by Robert Piguet is a very exciting thing for fans of Fracas or fragrance in general. 6 new perfumes have been released so far, including Petit Fracas, a more youthful version of the original with added pear and coco notes.

Here’s the cool part: You can purchase a sampler pack, including vials of the first 5 new scents, for $16. Prefer the classics? A sampler pack of all 7 classic scents (including Fracas) is also available here.
