Our first featured author is first time novelist, Kelly Harms!

The first featured author of Spa Week Daily’s new Book Club is Kelly Harms. The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane is her debut novel!

In the past, Kelly worked as an editor and literary agent in New York City. She moved to Madison, WI with her toddler Griffin to start writing. She humbly admits in an interview with women’s fiction writers that she cannot and does not do it all. Kelly, like most moms, oftentimes relies on childcare so that she can get work done at home!

When asked in an interview who her favorite character in Good Luck Girls would be, Kelly says “There’s a lady in the book who sells fried clams and eschews vegetables. She has a two page cameo. If they make a movie of the book, that’s who I’m going to ask to play, Stan Lee-style.”

Nancy Thayer, New York Times bestselling author of Summer Breeze, says “Kelly Harms’ The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane is a delightful book bursting with good humor, fast action, and delicious food.” Learn more about Kelly Harms on her website.

Spa Week Daily Book Club members will have the chance to ask Kelly questions (and get answers!) In Real Time on Spa Week’s Facebook page this month—keep a look out for the date and time to be announced!
