Julianne Hough, Julie Bowen and Lena Dunham didn’t win any Emmys for their outfits. By Greg in Hollywood (Greg Hernandez) (Flickr) [CC-BY-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0)], via Wikimedia CommonsNeil Patrick Harris hosted the Emmys last night. At one point during the show, the cast of HIMYM did a little skit where they accused him of having EHD—Excessive Host Disorder. Id does seem that he hosts all of award shows, doesn’t he? Read Sofia Vergara + the Best Dressed on the Emmys Red Carpet Julia Louis-Dreyfuss won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on VEEP. Heidi Klum, accompanied by Tim Gunn on the Red Carpet. Both won Emmys for hosting Project Runway. Unfortunately, her dress should have been “Auffed,” and not on the red carpet. Speaking of red carpets disasters, here’s our list of the worst dressed of the night. 1. Heidi Klum Ouch. This heavily beaded Versace gown nothing for Heidi’s knockout figure 2. Sarah Hyland Sarah Hyland usually looks adorable on and off the red carpet. Last night, the CH by Caroline Herrera emerald green and black lace gown looked much too old for her. 3. Zosia Mamet It’s understandable that if your character has a boring wardrobe, you’d wanna dress up on the red carpet. It’s just that (a) Zosia Mamet of Girls looks uncomfortable in this Honor gown and (b) what is that black magic marker across the chest supposed to mean? 4. Lena Dunham Prada. Yes, apparently Girls creator and star, Lena Dunham’s wearing a Prada lampshade. She did the jewelry right: Lena wore four carat diamond and platinum earrings from Neil Lane. 5. Julianne Hough Julianne Hough’s see through dress looked more like a stage costume than a red carpet gown. Maybe she wants to go back to DWTS? 6. Julie Bowen The color of this Zac Posen dress is perfect for her. Unfortunately, the side view makes it look like Julie Bowen has ruffled fins. She glittered in platinum jewelry from Jacob & Co.
