Thanksgiving is essentially synonymous at this point with over-indulgence. The appetizers, turkey, stuffing, 15 other sides and loaded dessert table no longer seem extravagant, but necessary. This year, try mixing in a couple of lean sides and light desserts to balance it out! Below we’ve found six recipes that are sure to satisfy.


There’s no getting around a hefty turkey drowned in thick gravy as our main course on Thanksgiving—we do care about the value of tradition!
