Last week, The New York Times reported a new trend popping up in hotel spas–the overnight treatment. We don’t mean services that promise overnight results. These are treatments where the spa atmosphere persists all night long!

Most notably, the CHI Spa in Fiji offers a “Dusk-til-Dawn” package thats just what it sounds like. You’ll start with a bath soak (including a cocktail and fresh fruit), an herbal steam, skin polish and traditional Fijian massage. Then you’ll enjoy a light spa cuisine for dinner. Upon winding down, patrons actually stay overnight in the treatment room. Awake early for a customized facial!

Other spas in exotic locales like Dubai, Croatia and Turks and Caicos are also offering evening treatments–ones that start after 9PM and often involve dessert and drinks. Finally, hotel spas are giving guests who don’t like to party or gamble all night a satisfying alternative (besides TV in bed) for evening entertainment.
