The 2014 Academy Awards were the perfect cap-off of an awards season to remember! Host Ellen Degeneres was on point, our favorite A-listers showed up looking more flawless than ever, and some very deserving stars took home the nights top awards. Oh, and we can’t forget the selfie heard round the world. The best part for us, of course, is dissecting the hair and beauty looks the morning after. Here are the stars that we’d award top accolades…

Best Lip: Kerry Washington

That bold berry lip is beyond gorgeous on Kerry’s skin tone, and we love the way it complements the soft purple of her dress. Well done, Olivia Pope. We hope that well-deserved pizza from Ellen didn’t smudge your makeup artist’s handiwork!

Best Brow: Camila Alves

Camila Alves has one flawless face, but her perfect arches are what really stick out here. Those strong brows are totally on-trend and definitely swoon-worthy. And hey, we wouldn’t turn down that arm candy, either.

Best Smoky Eye: Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz certainly wowed on the red carpet this Sunday. She looks mature, put together and simply flawless. For the most part, her makeup is soft and toned down, making those big, beautiful eyes the star of the show. Take note—this is how you do a smoky eye, ladies!

Best Natural Makeup: Cate Blanchett

Cate was a winner in so many ways this weekend. Those locks are perfection, her jewels make a statement, and that gown landed her on best dressed lists all across the web. Oh, and she won Best Actress for her role in Blue Jasmine. What we loved most is how natural and flawless her face looked!

Best Hair: Jared Leto

19th Annual Critics' Choice Awards - Press Room

Is this a shock to anyone? As soon as Mr. Leto stepped onto the red carpet Sunday night with those beachy, flowing, ombre waves, hearts everywhere skipped a beat. After his speech honoring his mom, I think Leto may be the hottest item on the Hollywood market right now!
