Everyone is buzzing about pistachio, and no we don’t mean the nut, (although we love them too) but the nail polish color! This creamy cool shade will make you feel fresh for spring and easily transition into summer.

At first mention, rocking green on your fingertips can seem like a bad idea. After all, while we love a good statement mani or some fun nail art, when it comes to picking the perfect polish we want a color that can work for all occasions.

Which is precisely why pistachio is taking over as the most popular nail polish color for spring. The subdued color is similar to mint green, but with a slightly richer quality. Some versions that we tested out (below) are infused with silvery shimmers that makes the color look totally mermaid-inspired.

The best part about pistachio is that it only looks better when paired with a golden glow. A shade that stands out for spring and works for summer too? Sounds like a win-win to us! Check out our favorite pistachio polishes we’re loving this season:

I was treated to an insanely restorative manicure using products from Dermelect’s latest lines, and this was my color of choice. I’ve received tons of compliments since, and a full 6 days later, I’ve barely seen a chip!

Essie Nail Polish in Fashion Playground

This glossy polish is just a smidge lighter than the Dermelect version, and offers a more subtle shimmer finish that makes it appropriate for both work and play.

Deborah Lippman’s Spring Reveries collection was inspired by botanical gardens, which is likely why this pistachio polish is so pretty. This shade is limited edition so grab it while you can!
