In the second installation of Jude Deveraux’s Nantucket Brides series, the Montgomery-Taggerts are back, and more delightful than ever. The novel opens at a beautiful wedding on the picturesque island of Nantucket—but the sparks flying aren’t between the bride and groom. Rather, cousin of the groom (and groomsman) Gradydon Montgomery can’t keep his eyes off beautiful bridesmaid, Toby Wyndam. He’s not the first—for years, men all over Nantucket have tried, to no avail, to win over Toby. Back in his home country, Lanconia, Graydon has an identical twin brother, named Rory. No one can tell the pair apart. Lanconian lore states that the woman who can tell Graydon from Rory is his true love. The reason that Graydon is fascinated by Toby is that she can do just that. Graydon sees how stressed she is over running the wedding, and arranges a private dinner for them outside, to get to know each other. It is here that Graydon reveals his true identity to Toby—not only is he a twin, but he is the heir to the Lanconian throne. He is to be formally engaged to another Noble, Danna, in a few weeks’ time. Graydon is able to secretly switch places with Rory without anyone finding out, and wishes to remain in Nantucket for a little extra time to relax before his duties officially start. He asks Toby to help him. Rory goes back to Lanconia and Graydon stays on the island with Toby—but an accident causes problems with the situation after just a couple of days. Graydon and Toby know they can never truly be together—but that doesn’t change the feelings that eventually overcome the pair. This truly romantic story about finding love will have you swooning with each turn of the page. Deveraux writes romance like no other, and For All Time is no exception to her brilliance.
