It’s Mani Monday and we’re bringing you another super fun no-tool nail art DIY tutorial. And this time we’re taking inspiration from National Peach Cobbler Day! When we heard that today is National Peach Cobbler Day, we were instantly excited. From gooey peach filling, to flaky warm crust, to rich vanilla ice cream, we’re already salivating at the thought. But alas, it’s mid-April, also known as the prime time to get our summer beach bodies in check. So unfortunately, it’s probably not the best time to indulge in a sweet treat that delivers upwards of 400 calories per serving. Instead, we’re celebrating the fruity dessert holiday in a calorie-free way…with nail art, of course! And to keep it super simple, we’re using no special tools to put this look together — just pretty nail polishes and reinforcement labels. So grab your favorite lacquers and raid your office supply closet, because this DIY is sure to please every sweet tooth. What you need: essie ridge filling base coat essie nail polish in “blanc” essie nail polish in “picked perfect” essie nail polish in “haute as hello” essie good to go top coat 20 reinforcement labels. What to do: Start by painting each nail with the ridge filling base coat. Allow it to dry completely. Paint the each entire nail with “blanc“. Whites sometimes require at least two coats to become completely opaque. Allow to completely dry. Place one reinforcement on each nail base. Paint the exposed nail with “picked perfect.” Again, allow to dry completely. Remove the used reinforcements. Place a new reinforcement on each nail directly above the tip of the white polish. Paint exposed nail tip with “haute as hello.” Allow to dry completely. Remove the used reinforcement and finish off with the good to go top coat.
