We’re celebrating Star Wars Day with an out of this world nail art tutorial! May the Fourth be with you! It’s Mani Monday and we’re celebrating with a festive Star Wars nail art DIY tutorial. Whether you’re partial to stormtroopers or lightsabers, we’ve got something for everyone to commemorate one of the biggest movie franchises of all time. What You Need: OPI “Start-to-Finish” Base Coat, Top Coat, and Strengthener OPI nail polish in “Alpine Snow” OPI nail polish in “Black Onyx” 1 dotting tool 1 small paint brush What to Do: Begin by painting each nail with the “Start-to-Finish” base coat and allow it to dry completely. Coat each nail with “Alpine Snow” and allow it to dry completely. Use the dotting to add two black dots on the tip of the middle nail on each hand. Use the small paint brush to add a small line between the two dots. Add a frown directly above. Draw two upside down right angle triangle eyes above the frown. Add a line above the eyes for the top of the helmet. Allow art to dry completely and add a layer of “Start-to-Finish” top coat. Spice It Up With Lightsabers: What You Need: OPI nail polish in “Silver Canvas” OPI nail polish in “Primarily Yellow” OPI nail polish in “Magenta Muse” OPI nail polish in “Landscape Artist” OPI nail polish in “Turquoise Aesthetic” 1 small paint brush What to Do: Use the small paint brush to apply “Silver Canvas” to the tip of each nail drawing the handle of each lightsaber. After cleaning the brush, add a vertical line up each nail from the handle to the cuticle, alternating colors. Finish off with OPI “Start to Finish” top coat and may the force be with you!
