My Mom had 6 kids and a full time job. Beauty tips just didn’t count – she tried to get enough sleep to get through the next day!

Use a facial scrub of honey and sugar, it works wonderfully and smells great too!

Don’t try to get a tan without putting on sun protection…Now, you need to understand this was when everyone was using a baby oil and iodine mix! I listened to her and all these years later, my skin doesn’t ‘look its age’!

The best beauty tips my mom passed along to me was to dust a light coating of baby powder over lashes so the mascara would adhere better to the lashes and really plump them up and stand out. Of course, this was before lash primers but I still use it because it works great!!

THE BEAUTY TIP MY MI’M GAVE ME WAS TO ALWAYS, NO MATTER HOW TIRED YOU ARE, WASH YOUR MAKEUP OFF AT NIGHT BEFORE BED AND SLEEP ON A SATIN OR SILK PILLOWCASE!!

My mother told me to steam my face with fresh mint leaves to open my pores before doing home facials because the most beautiful skin she’d ever seen was of a woman she knew that steamed her face daily with fresh mint leaves. She also said it was great for helping treat headaches and sinus problems. It does take time, but it is great when I do it and leaves my skin clear and incredibly soft.

The best beauty secret my mom gave me is to moisturize your face daily. My mom is almost 70 and hardly has a wrinkle so there must be something to it!

She always told me STOP PICKING YOUR FACE. And I did. She said it would scar, and it did. Why didn’t I listen???
