This Mani Monday we’re celebrating everything black, white, and striped with the easiest black and white striped nail art DIY ever. So, you’ve finally got your hands on a roll of nail striping tape and it’s time to up your mani game in a big way. But when you go to apply it, cutting tiny pieces to perfectly fit each nail is nearly impossible. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. “There” meaning “drooling over Pinterest nail art only to find out that executing it is easier said than done.” But there’s good news: We’ve simplified the nail tape process to make the easiest black and white striped nail art DIY ever! You can still achieve sassy stripes with nail tape while leaving behind the hassle of sizing every piece for each nail. And better yet, you don’t even have to worry about little pieces of tape flicking up two days into your mani. Can you say easiest nail art DIY ever? Say goodbye to bangles and baubles, because this chic manicure is about to be your new favorite accessory. What you need: Deborah Lippmann nail polish in “Fade to Black” Deborah Lippmann nail polish in “Amazing Grace” Deborah Lippmann CC base coat in “All About That Base” Deborah Lippmann high gloss top coat in “On a Clear Day” 1 roll of foil striping tape What to do: Begin by painting each nail with the “All About That Base” CC coat. After the base coat is fully dry, apply a layer of “Fade to Black.” Allow to completely dry. Place small pieces of the foil striping tape on each nail in various patterns. Paint over nails with “Amazing Grace.” This may take two coats to fully cover the black base. Allow the polish to completely dry, then carefully remove each piece of tape.
