We’re celebrating the return of this fan-favorite shark-filled week the only way we know how, with fabulous shark-inspired beauty items and fashion accessories! Luckily for you, we created a jaws-inspired nail art DIY to keep your fingers fresh all week long. Tools needed: Deborah Lippmann top/base coat in ‘Hard Rock’ Deborah Lippmann ‘Fade to Black’ Deborah Lippmann ‘Xanadu’ Smith & Cult ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ essie ‘lacquered up’ essie ‘blanc’ 1 small brush 1 dotting tool Instructions: 1. Start off with a base coat of ‘Hard Rock.’ Once that’s dry, add a couple of layers of ‘Xanadu’ making sure the polish comes out opaque. 2. After this has dried, add a the start of the shark’s head to each middle finger nail by painting on ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ with the small brush. 3. Add two eye dots with ‘Fade to Black’ on the dotting tool. 4. Create the inside of the mouth by paining ‘lacquered up’ with a small brush. Make sure this dries completely. 5. Add the outline of the mouth, as well as the teeth, using ‘blanc’ on a small brush. Let this dry and seal it with the ‘Hard Rock’ top coat. How will you be celebrating Shark Week 2015?
