Triple Berry Oat Smoothie

Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and oats… what’s not to love? Packed with protein, vitamins, and antioxidants, this smoothie will give you the energy and nutrition you need to make it through the morning.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ blueberries
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  • 3 strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • Ice

Directions:

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blender on high and blend until smooth.

Spinach Orange Smoothie

Feel great all day by waking up with a Spinach Orange Smoothie. Spinach and orange are excellent sources of Vitamin C, as well as choline— which promotes healthy cognitive function.  The banana thickens the smoothie and adds potassium, while the hemp seed introduces protein.

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange, peeled
  • ½ banana, peeled
  • 1 cup tightly packed organic spinach
  • ¼ cup coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • Ice

Directions:

Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high. Add more coconut water as desired to reach preferred consistency for the smoothie.

Banana Almond Smoothie

Filled with vitamins, minerals, and omega-3s, this breakfast smoothie will keep you satisfied until lunch. The peanut butter and flax seed add filling protein, while the almond extract lights the flavor for a yummy treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium or large frozen banana (broken into 1-in. chunks before freezing)
  • 1 heaping spoonful of peanut butter
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 2 spoonfuls flax seed
  • Drizzle of honey or agave nectar
  • Tiny drop of almond extract

Directions:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
