“Brown-Eyed Girl” is the latest book in a four-part series written by best-selling author, Lisa Kleypas. Here’s what we thought of it. Brown-Eyed Girl is the highly anticipated final novel in Lisa Kleypas’s series, Travis. It comes out August 11 but we were lucky enough to get out hands on an advanced reader’s copy. We obviously took no time to dive into this eagerly awaited book, soon finding ourselves engulfed in the romantic twists and turns that NYT Best Seller Lisa Kleypas so skillfully depicts throughout the novel. There’s nothing more interesting than a wedding planner who has completely written off love, which is exactly what heroine Avery Crosslin has done. Sure, she can execute the most beautiful, romantic weddings, but she has no interest in finding true love for herself. As fate would have it, love finds her anyway. With extreme reluctance, Avery finds herself under the spell of the strong, handsome, and extremely wealthy, Joe Travis. As secrets from her past arise, it’s clear why she was quick to push Joe away, but that doesn’t hinder his persistence and admiration for this fascinating woman. No better way to wind down after a long workout than to cuddle up with a good book. Who's excited for tomorrow's release of #lisakleypas's newest addition to the #TravisSeries, Brown-Eyed Girl? We seriously could not put this novel down. #browneyedgirl #book #bookworm #reading #instagood #read #author #romance A photo posted by Spa Week (@spaweek) on Aug 10, 2015 at 2:23pm PDT The best part? Lisa Kleypas is a wizard at creating captivating graphic descriptions. Each detail is so well drawn out that it’s easy to breeze through the book while still taking in all the vivid imagery. This book can be read as part of the Travis series but it can also be equally enjoyed on its own. If you’re already a fan of the series, you’ll be delighted to see characters from previous books reappear, furthering their already established story lines. Now, we obviously don’t want to give away any spoilers, but this book is a definite must-read. Make sure to pre-order the Lisa Kleypas’s Brown-Eyed Girl on Amazon.
