We all know one (or a few) women whose skin is so gorgeous; we just have to ask what she’s been doing. As a medical esthetician, beauty enthusiast, and busy mommy to two boys, I am so excited to share the 20 essentials that every woman with amazing skin always does to keep her skin looking healthy, happy, and fabulous!

#1. She Never Goes to Sleep Without Cleansing. Your skin does most of it’s healing while you sleep (hello, beauty rest), which is why it is so important to wash away the dirt, oil, and makeup from the day.

#2. She ALWAYS Wears Her SPF. Sun damage is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to fine lines, sun spots, and wrinkles. Be sure to put it on each and every day, and reapply every few hours!

#3. She Stays Hydrated. Did you know that superficial fine lines are often caused by dehydration? Keep up on your 8 cups a day to maintain a healthy body, and plump, beautiful skin.

#4. She Knows the Value of Antioxidants. Eat plenty of them, and slather them on your skin! Antioxidant rich ingredients are great for protecting from free radical damage and anti-aging.

  #5. Eye Cream. Lots of Eye Cream. Eyes are not only the windows to your soul but often the windows to your age! Be sure to slather on the eye cream both AM and PM.

#6. She Invests in TLC. A facial might seem like a luxury, but it is actually an amazing way to keep your skin looking youthful. Whether you get one once a year, or once a month, your skin deserves the benefits (of which, there are many).

#7. She Follows Instructions. There is totally such a thing as too much of a good thing. Following instructions is critical for a safe routine and beautiful results!

#8. She Wears Sunnies. FINALLY, an excuse to buy that pair of sunglasses you’ve been eyeing. Sunglasses are great for protecting your eyes from UV damage (and preventing squinting!). So go forth, and indulge.
