Detox Your Mind

Taking a day just for yourself is the best way to escape toxic people and toxic thoughts. Need some tips for unwinding? Try:

  • Meditating or Doing Yoga: HeadSpace and DownDog are two great apps to get started with guided meditation and yoga practice!
  • Turn Off Your Phone: Let your friends and family know where you’ll be… but take a day to get away from your tech.
  • Leave the Negative Thoughts Behind: Easier said than done, but try to leave those negative thoughts somewhere else for the day. You’ll be amazed how much better you feel.
  • Read your favorite book: Pick up your favorite or a new one you’ve been dying to read and escape into someone else’s world for the day!

  • Trips to the sauna
  • Plenty of water and tea– hydration is crucial!
