Here at Spa Week, we know how important self-care days are. We try to make time for regular spa visits and alone-time away from our tech. Spa days are a perfect time to get away, but when you need some relaxation at home, it’s time for a self-care day. So put your phone on Do Not Disturb, light your favorite candle, and turn on some soothing music. It’s time for a you-day.

Step one to the perfect self-care day: bath-time. Is there anything better than sitting in a bath covered in bubbles? (We’ll give you a hint: the answer is no).

If you’re looking for a little luxury, look no further than Antica Farmacista’s bubble baths ($38). The company specializes in fragrances, so every bubble bath with fill your bathroom with a fresh, relaxing scent that helps you unwind. Lush Palm is the perfect floral scent and Lemon, Verbena & Cedar is ideal for citrus lovers. Want the best of both worlds? Orange Blossom, Lilac, and Jasmine is right for you.

While you’re soaking in the bubbles, give your hair a treat too. Amika’s Soulfood ($28) is the best choice for dry hair– it will bring you nourished, hydrated, lively hair after just one use, and it’s gentle enough to use regularly.

Another great hydrating option is the WEN Mandarin Italian Re-Moist Hydrating Mask ($58). This mask will leave hair feeling hydrated and soft. Our favorite part of this mask the way it leaves our hair feeling lucious and looking shiny and healthy!

Looking for a golden way to moisturize and repair damaged hair? Oribe’s Gold Lust Pre-Shampoo Intensive Treatment ($68) is the perfect choice. It will restore moisture and hydrate your hair, while using the Oribe signature complex to protect hair from future damage.

Follow your bath with a leave-in conditioner that will leave you hydrated and frizz-free. IGK’s Thirsty Girl Coconut Milk Leave-In Conditioner ($28) will deeply hydrate your scalp and hair while using innovative ingredients to prevent split-ends and frizz.

We’ll let you in on a little secret: masking is our favorite part of self-care days. Laying down with our eyes closed and a soothing mask working away on our skin? Heaven.

If your skin needs a brightening boost, try Kiehls Cranberry & Turmeric Mask ($39). The mask restores the appearance of healthy skin– rosy cheeks and bright, glowing skin. This is our favorite at-home option to help shed winter skin and get ready for spring!

If you need a more hydrating option, we love Farmacy’s Honey Potion ($38) and Farmacy’s Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask ($9). Honey Potion is our favorite option for a relaxing, hydrating mask. The natural ingredients feel soothing and soft on our skin and will give your skin a nice, warming feeling. The Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask is refreshing and definitely one of our favorite sheet masks!

After you’ve spent some time masking and relaxing, it’s important to keep your skin clean and glowing. Clean skin is key to relaxation. We recommend picking up your favorite cleanser and following with a health dose of mists and serums to keep your skin bright and beautiful!

A exfoliator is key for creating bright skin. We love using Pixi Glow Tonic ($29) to help us achieve that natural glow. The toner is gentle enough for sensitive skin and uses natural ingredients to help exfoliate, soothe, and revitalize.

Mario Badescu Facial Sprays have quickly become one of the most fun parts of our skincare routines. We love the Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater ($7) and Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea ($7) scents. This spray is super versatile– you can use it before moisturizer, after applying makeup, or whenever you need a mid-day boost.

Using Algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen ($115) is a luxurious experience. Collagen is the most important anti-aging ingredient in skincare, and Algenist’s formulation delivers the collagen directly to your skin. Collagen is a great preventative ingredient as well as a great option to treat signs of aging. Bonus points: this product is vegan and uses plant collagen!

The final step for your ultimate self-care day? Hydration. We all know the wonders that hydration can bring. Drinking a glass of water after a long day can instantly make you feel happier and more energized. The same policy works for your skin– make sure you end your day with plenty of hydration!

The most sensitive part of your skin is directly under the eye– and that means it needs the most hydration too. We love Kiehls Avocado Eye Cream ($29)– the thick formula delivers great hydration to the sensitive area and is a great option for anyone with extra sensitive skin.

Another favorite of ours is Belif Moisturizing Eye Cream ($48) is a great anti-aging option to keep your eyes looking radiant and bright. It also provides intensive moisture to especially dry skin.

While you’re moisturizing, don’t neglect the rest of your face! Belif The Truth Cream Aqua Bomb ($38) has quickly become our favorite daily moisturizer. It lightweight delivers intense hydration to dry skin.

For parts of your skin that are more dry, we recommend Farmacy Honey Savior ($34) to help repair problem areas. This is also a great product for dry hands and cuticles!

Finish your Self-Care Day in bed, after you’ve applied Dermalogica’s Sound Sleep Cocoon ($80). The gel-cream works overnight to help repair your skin and reduce signs of fatigue, brighten skin tone, and restore vitality. The scent (made with essential oils) is calming and relaxing– the perfect way to end your restorative day.
