Dry skin can be a yearround struggle, but it’s something that drives us especially crazy during the cold winter months. Dry skin can cause redness and irritation, not to mention it’s just uncomfortable. That’s why we’ve created the ultimate skincare routine for dry skin this winter.

Step 1: Cleanser

default-1

Step one in your routine has to be a cleanser, even when you feel like washing your face will just dry you out even more. During the winter months and for especially dry skin types, we recommend using a cleansing lotion, like Glossier’s Milky Jelly. We love this product because it leaves you clean without feeling dry or dehydrated.

Step 2: Toner

Using a hydrating toner is one way to add an extra level of moisturizing to your daily routine. Fresh’s Deep Hydration Facial Toner is alcohol free and formulated with rose petals and hyaluronic acid, for maximum moisture and hydration. We recommend avoiding exfoliating toners during the winter months, because they’ll leave you feeling dryer and irritated.

Step 3: Serum

indie-lee

There are so many great serums for dry skin, it can be hard to pick just one. We love Indie Lee’s  Squalane Facial Oil because it’s the perfect solution for dry skin, uneven texture, oil balance, and it’s ideal for all skin types. It leaves our skin feeling hydrated and relaxed, and it’s a great product for face, hands, neck, and decollete.

Step 4: Eye Cream

The under-eye area is one of the most delicate areas of skin and it can be hard to find the right product to treat swelling, bags, dark circles, and dry skin under our eyes. We love Dr. Barbara Strum’s formula because it treats all of these problems with a scientific formula.

Step 5: Moisturizer
